For those of you trying to access the gallery and find it missing, can’t login or can’t locate all the pictures, it’s because I am doing some updating. This may take all weekend, so please be patient.

Mint Stats

Consider this a very short review as my time is limited at my desk so I can’t be as thorough as I’d like. A lot of you may have heard of Mint, ‘an extensible web site analytics program’. Extensible is right. After I had installed Mint and saw how basic it was (I’m still looking to find out where the IPs/hostnames are shown), I knew I needed more using the many plugins that are available.

As I said before, I don’t see information about the visitors, and that’s useful sometimes. I did install Geo Mint, which lets me see visitors on a Google Map and also IP and location, but Geo Mint doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Mint is very appealing to the eyes, I’ll give it that. BBClone provided me with IPs/hostnames, but I found it to be slightly buggy (it would stop showing new visitors). I also like how easy Mint is to set up and install plugins.

I will have to give Mint 4.5 stars only because of the lack of IPs/hostnames. If it does exist, someone please tell me where I can see this.

I’m Back

I’ve been back home since May 12, but I’ve been healing and adjusting to the new life with a baby and a 3 year old. At least I had David’s help until today. Today is his first day back to work since I went to the hospital.

Since we’ve been home, Eamon does everything he can to get into trouble. It’s like he dropped a year or two off his age. Hopefully it’s just a phase and he’ll start behaving again.

Anyway, it was my second time having a baby, and it was an horrible experience at the hospital, but I’m okay now and probably won’t ever forget the labor. With Eamon, I didn’t feel pain, it was just uncomfortably strong cramps. But, this time it was all pain, in the front and the back! It was so painful that I couldn’t push.

I am just glad it’s all over.

It’s Time!

Tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 7:00, I will be at the hospital. Since the baby has not decided it’s time to come out, way past the due date, the doctor will try breaking my water. If that doesn’t get things going, then I’ll be induced.

Hopefully when things return to normal after the baby is here, I’ll be able to continue writing on the blog. Don’t expect to hear from me right away! It could be a week before I start.
