Looking for the Right Gadget?

If you’re like me, you spend a lot of time searching for reviews on some new gadget. I don’t like buying things without knowing what others’ opinions are about the product. Of course, sometimes you just have to buy it and find out for yourself.

Testfreaks is a website that will be launching soon to help people find the right product they want. Looking for cell phone reviews? I can’t wait until the Laptops/Notebooks section is available, because I’m always looking for nice ones. I would like to be able to replace the one I have because it just isn’t up to running Windows anymore.

iBlinds

The following YouTube video doesn’t seem to get many nice comments. I have to say, it’s creative, whether or not anyone thinks it is stupid or impossible. But, is anything really impossible these days?

The following YouTube video is a response to the iBlinds video. Just thought I would share it for laughs.

iPod

I received a 30GB iPod (black) from my dad for Christmas. I’m not someone who goes crazy over iPod products, but I do like mp3 players and the iPod is really nice. It’s not just an audio player, but also a video player. I haven’t tried it yet, but it allows you to view photos, too.

When I found out it could play games, I thought, “Wow, that’s neat.” But, I’m not really impressed because moving through menus was even hard for me at first; taking me about 10 minutes to figure out (I didn’t read the instructions first). So, I probably won’t use it to really play games. I have a Nintendo DS for that anyway. The other features include a calendar, clock, notes, and a stopwatch. I wanted to use the calendar, but for some reason it’s not syncing right with Outlook. I’m not sure why that is, yet.

Nintendo DS Lite

For Christmas, David gave me a Nintendo DS Lite, along with a couple games besides the two it came with. A while back I had seen Brain Age on TV and thought it was really neat to be able to “improve” your brain and wished they made Brain Age for the computer. So, he bought me Brain Age and the New Super Mario Bros. game. The two games it came with was a Sonic Rush and Monster Trucks. I’m not too fond of the Monster Trucks game because it’s really not that exciting. Sonic is a little hard on such two tiny screens when he goes really fast and moves from one to the other. And, I recently bought myself the Animal Crossing game because it looked cute and I wanted to test out the wireless. Only problem is that our wireless network isn’t accepted by the DS, so I have to wait.

Anyway, the reason for me writing about this is that today I went to my prenatal appointment and in the waiting room there was a boy playing on the DS. There was a girl a seat or two away from him playing something else, not really sure what. But after the boy had left the waiting room, the girl pulled out a DS and started playing.

Keep Your Computer Cool

I recently purchased a few things from FrozenCPU to help keep my computer a little cooler. The four fans in my computer just don’t seem to do a very good job. I’m sure I might get some comments here about the products I’ve purchased, but I’m limited on the amount of money I can spend at this time.
