eBay: Buyer Beware

I finally received the Nintendo DS Wifi Max in the mail yesterday afternoon, after three weeks of supposedly having been shipped from North Carolina to New York! I am thinking after I reported the item as not received to PayPal, the person probably quickly sent the item out. Of course, it wasn’t even new or sealed as stated in the eBay listing, but at this point, I am not going to go through the trouble of sending it back (at my expense) and waiting for a refund to eventually get to me.

For those of you considering buying anything on eBay from an inflatablemadness, don’t do it. Read the feedback (a lot of negatives), look on the eBay forum, not a good idea to purchase from that one. If you do, do so at your own risk.

For what I paid for a used item, I would have been better off paying the full price for a new one at Amazon!

GoDaddy Promo Codes

I just purchased a new domain (not releasing the name right now) and used a promo code to save some money. Anytime I buy online, I always look for promo codes. It’s especially good when you have to pay shipping and you find a code that gives you free shipping. Just that little extra saved makes a big difference. It feels good to save!

Here are a few promo codes that as of today are still good:

  1. OYH1: 10% off any GoDaddy order.
  2. OYH2: $5 off any $30 order.
  3. OYH3 $6.95 .COM registration.

I found these at In Over Your Head.

Decorating Around the Home & Garden

Looking through this online store, Online Discount Mart, I found really cute Rain Gauges! I have never seen anything like this, but it would be perfect to have outside in the front. My favorite one is the cat with the umbrella! Very cute!

We probably only have a few nice things around the house outside. Recently I had added these nice white rocks underneath the bushes in front of our house; looks really good! Then there’s this one thing that has two frogs on a see-saw; very cute. We have a wind chime.

Nintendo DS Browser Arrived

Well, Best Buy managed to send me one (it was on backorder) from California. Considering it was sent via USPS, it did not take very long to get here. I cannot do a review on this yet, as I have not received the Wifi Max for some reason. The weird part is that it’s coming from North Carolina via USPS and was shipped a couple days before the Browser. How is that possible?

I won’t assume anything yet until the end of the week. If I don’t receive it, I’ll start wondering if the person on eBay even sent it.

The Most Award-Winning AntiSpyware Software

Spy Sweeper is the most award-winning antispyware software. I personally know this, as I have had my computer infected with spyware, and other software was unsuccessful at attempts to remove the spyware. After buying Spy Sweeper, my computer was clean again. It’s the only one that I always have running in the background.

Spy Sweeper includes shields that help protect your system from IE hijackers, keyloggers, tracking cookies, and lots more. It also notifies you when something tries to add itself to the startup items.

Scheduling a ’sweep’ of your computer is really easy so you don’t have to remember to do it manually. I recommend scheduling it when you won’t be at your computer, because I personally find that it slows down my system a little bit and also takes a while to scan. It is faster than other software, but still slow in my opinion.

Although a ‘Full Sweep’ is the best option and recommended, sometimes a quick or even custom one is just as good. The ‘Custom Sweep’ allows you to choose to scan for things in the registry, memory, files, cookies, and even checks for rootkits.

I recommend Spy Sweeper for anyone who wants to keep their system clean.
