Web CEO 7.0

I just found out that there is a new version of Web CEO out. Version 7.0 has many improvements since previous versions and new features:

  • A Unified Import System, which allows you to import keywords, competition URLs and more from one tool and project into another. Also import keywords and URLs from a text file, META tags and of course, the clipboard.
  • Scheduler
  • Sending generated reports to the Report Viewer allows you to preview reports before sharing it with (e.g. clients.)
  • New interface
  • Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) support

This is just a summary of the many features Web CEO has to offer. Read What’s New in Web CEO 7.0 to read more about these features and many more. There is a special promotional offer for Web CEO. This is a time-limited offer, so hurry!

Not sure if Web CEO is for you? Read below:

Online Backup

IDrive-E is an Online Backup Service Provider that offers automated backups. It includes many features that allow you to easily backup your files.

IDrive-E

  • Sharing files
  • Windows explorer like interface
  • Drag and drop
  • Block level incremental backups
  • Notification on the status of scheduled backups

I like the application that is installed, makes it very easy to access and update backups.

Performance is something IDrive-E has over competitors:

Internal tests show at least a 30% performance advantage over competing services, which could mean a huge difference in backup time.

There are two packages to choose from: IDrive-E Basic, which is free and gives you 2GB (who doesn’t like free?). IDrive-E Pro for $4.95/month you get unlimited space. The yearly price is an even better option, giving you two months free!

Compared to other backup services like IDrive-E, this one offers great prices and service. I would say this is just as good as having Norton Ghost, but better, because your backup is located someplace else!

Mint Stats

Consider this a very short review as my time is limited at my desk so I can’t be as thorough as I’d like. A lot of you may have heard of Mint, ‘an extensible web site analytics program’. Extensible is right. After I had installed Mint and saw how basic it was (I’m still looking to find out where the IPs/hostnames are shown), I knew I needed more using the many plugins that are available.

As I said before, I don’t see information about the visitors, and that’s useful sometimes. I did install Geo Mint, which lets me see visitors on a Google Map and also IP and location, but Geo Mint doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Mint is very appealing to the eyes, I’ll give it that. BBClone provided me with IPs/hostnames, but I found it to be slightly buggy (it would stop showing new visitors). I also like how easy Mint is to set up and install plugins.

I will have to give Mint 4.5 stars only because of the lack of IPs/hostnames. If it does exist, someone please tell me where I can see this.

Nintendo DS Browser

As I was searching the Internet for a wifi connector for my Nintendo DS, I came across the Nintendo DS Browser, which I had never heard of before. Some stores are starting to sell it this week.

Anyway, I figured since I want to use my DS for playing games wirelessly with other players, maybe using the Internet with the DS would be nice as well. Since I’m usually away from my desk and my laptop is just annoying because it has to be plugged into an outlet at all times, this is a perfect solution for me.

Looking for the Right Gadget?

If you’re like me, you spend a lot of time searching for reviews on some new gadget. I don’t like buying things without knowing what others’ opinions are about the product. Of course, sometimes you just have to buy it and find out for yourself.

Testfreaks is a website that will be launching soon to help people find the right product they want. Looking for cell phone reviews? I can’t wait until the Laptops/Notebooks section is available, because I’m always looking for nice ones. I would like to be able to replace the one I have because it just isn’t up to running Windows anymore.
