News Wherever I Go

News is everywhere now. Many websites offer RSS feeds, which lets you read locally via a news reader on your computer, instead of opening up a website. In fact, if you have access to a news reader and would like to view my posts with it, you can. Just subscribe to http://www.myphotoalbumspace.com/feed/ and you’ll be reading locally!

What if you’re not at home, but you still have access to a computer? That’s where NewsGator Online comes in. You can sign up to a free online service that allows you to view all of your RSS feeds using the browser no matter where you are. If you still want to view the feeds offline, then use Outlook and NewsGator’s plugin to read using Outlook, and even sync it with NewsGator Online.

Even though I’m always at home and I have about 300GB of free space, I still prefer NewsGator Online for viewing, because it’s not taking up any space on my computer, and I don’t have to bother with thousands of feeds piling up and slowing down Outlook, even though I now don’t use Outlook, because I’m running Linux.

I would recommend NewsGator over any other news reader. Check it out and see what you think.
