Resources: Free Coloring Pages

Since I get so many visitors looking for Lightning McQueen coloring pages from the Cars movie, I thought I would provide some more resources for finding coloring pages. They don’t necessarily contain any from the Cars movie, but if you contact the owner of the site, maybe they will include those if there is enough demand for them.

  1. www.coloring.ws
This one has many categories to choose from. Cartoons, flowers, people, holiday and religious are just some of the ones they provide.
  2. www.free-coloring-pages.com
This one doesn’t have as much as the first one, but does have online coloring, printable activities and online games.
  3. www.coloringbookfun.com
This one is my favorite of the three. It has activities, crafts and coloring pages. It’s also a much better designed website making it easy to find what you’re looking for.

If you know of any more great coloring sites, please leave a comment. Just keep in mind when leaving a link, if you leave more than one it will get marked as spam and I will have to manually check the comment.

Is Internet Explorer Taking Over Firefox?

According to Google Analytics, more people use Internet Explorer than Firefox when visiting here. Before IE7, more people used Firefox. Is there a feature in IE7 that people prefer over safer browsing in Firefox? Or is this all related to more and more people using Vista? According to Analytics, that isn’t the case. Vista only takes up about 8%.

Below shows the stats as they are displayed in Google Analytics for this month:

Thank You Google, for the Cache

I just did something very stupid this morning. Am I alone? No, this can happen to anybody, especially when you wake up so early in the morning which causes you to not think as clearly! Which is why a lot of people drink coffee in the morning, except me.

What did I do that was stupid? I deleted the Free Advertising Every Month entry. I can’t believe I did that! It was completely by accident. I started to panic because I don’t subscribe to my own RSS Feed so I wasn’t sure how I was going to get it back. Then, I remembered Google Cache and entered in cache:www.softtechreviews.com and there was the entry!

Lesson learned. I will not just click anywhere without thinking first. I am now subscribed to my own feed. And, I will make more frequent automated backups. Once a week is not enough.

To WordPress: Please force me to enter in my password before allowing entry deletion or any other important changes, rather than asking, “Are you sure you want to do this?”.

To My Readers

I apologize to all my readers, the server was down for quite a while starting yesterday evening until sometime this morning I guess. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again.

Currently, I cannot access my e-mail, but they are working on that problem right now. So if anyone has contacted me at all regarding the free advertising, I apologize! I would not have received your e-mail. If by the end of the day, you haven’t heard back about it, then please contact me again with the same information.

Not Just Any MySpace Resource

WhateverLife is a website that provides free MySpace layouts and other things. Unlike most of those types of websites, this one actually looks good. It is run by a 17-year-old high school dropout. She must be really good at what she does, because she is making a lot of money from this.

There are a couple of things I don’t like, that make me think of MySpace. The video at the bottom of the page that automatically plays. Get rid of it or don’t allow it to automatically play! The second thing is the way the website is laid out, I don’t think it should have that video at the bottom. I think that first page would look better as one that doesn’t scroll. Just my opinion though.

If you’re one of the many people with those MySpace pages, go check out the nice layouts that she provides for free.
