Very Soon

With May 1st only a few weeks away, I’ve been doing more planning for when the baby gets here. We don’t have the crib setup yet, but that’s because we’re waiting on a new bed for Eamon, which my mom bought for him. This way we can convert his bed back into the crib. We’ll probably buy the mattress for Eamon’s bed before it arrives so we can have the crib put together before the baby is born.

Now that there isn’t that long to go, I’ve been losing more and more sleep at night. That’s mostly due to not being comfortable sleeping on my sides because it feels like muscles are being torn and it stings a lot. And sleeping on my back is awful because the weight of the baby on my back is horrible. I can feel my ribs being pushed out and then when I sit up, I can feel them move back since the baby moves down due to gravity. It is a very uncomfortable feeling! No one said that when you go through another pregnancy that everything feels worse! My first pregnancy was easy compared to this one.

If you don’t know how far along I am, here’s a ticker from Baby Gaga:

Pregnancy Due Date

After the baby is here, I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to write, but I hope to aim for at least once a week, if not more than that.

Sitescore Beta Top 500

My score is much higher this time than it was, so I’m pleased with any improvements that were made. But, I do have to work on other areas of my website to resolve things the report pointed out. View the report if you want to see how my website did.

Click the preview on the right to see the score for my website. You can also see that my website is 20 of the top 500 for now. To view the actual page on Sitescore, visit the Top 500 page.

Google Hoaxes: Gmail Paper and TiSP (Beta)

I was unable to find anything searching for these two services on Google, until I came across a Wikipedia result. I knew they had to be another of Google’s April Fool’s jokes, but wanted to make sure before I said anything here about them. Of course they could go and make a fool out of me if one of them actually turns out to be real. Which one do you think would be more likely to be real? I don’t think I could answer that question if I had to.

Baby Shower

A couple friends of mine threw together a baby shower for me on Saturday. Even though there was supposed to be more people there, it was really fun. One person was sick and couldn’t make it, and others had plans.

I didn’t even expect to have a baby shower, but it was nice to have one anyway. I mostly enjoyed hanging out with everyone. And, Eamon had fun playing with a little girl. When it was time for us to leave, she didn’t want Eamon to go.

They even sent us home with some of the food, which was really good, too! Especially this pasta salad that has apples in it.

These two friends will be watching Eamon when I go to the hospital, so we’ll be visiting them more often to allow Eamon to get used to them, because he’ll end up staying the night at least one night, if not two.
