BuyDomains for Businesses

BuyDomains looks perfect for businesses who want to get their name out there. You’re able to view popular domains that are for sale or browse through the categories and get more ideas for that perfect domain name. If you’re just looking, but don’t have time to sit there all day browsing, sign up for the domain alerts. This is done through keywords and categories.

I have to say, after looking through the prices of the domains, they are very pricey. I don’t know how anyone can afford them, unless you’re a business that can afford to a lot of money on a domain. But, I’m just a regular person that is thankful for cheap hosting and domains! Of course, I guess if I wanted a popular domain, I would have to fork over the money, because it’s really hard to find domains that aren’t already taken. The best part though, you can request a loan so you are able to pay over twelve months time, up to $4,999.

Run Meebo As Its Own Application

This has made my day! I’m not even sure that anyone in the Meebo forum knows about this since I have never seen it mentioned in my search for something similar. Chris Kasten from Solo Technology created it. Thank you Chris! Meebo can now run in its own window, rather than keeping the browser open 24/7.

Meebo as its own application

The features include:

  • Running Meebo as its own application (as seen in screenshot).
  • Ability to minimize to the tray.
  • Open other websites.

Those are enough features for me! Well, I would love to see the icon in the tray blink or even display a popup notification down there telling me what’s going on when it’s minimized. Maybe in the future Chris?
